The University of Piura (UDEP) is located in Peru, the Latin American country with the highest levels of economic growth in recent years. Founded in 1969 by Josemaría Escrivá, UDEP provides quality education, promotes research and trains professionals capable of transforming society.

One of the ten best universities in Peru, UDEP is renowned for its high level of academic rigor, personalized education and promotion of values. These characteristics have resulted in UDEP graduates being highly sought after in today’s competitive labour market.

UDEP’s established professional network further complements the ongoing work and development of its students, teachers and graduates. Currently there are more than 100 exchange opportunities with universities in 25 countries worldwide. Moreover, a strong relationship with local and foreign institutions has been achieved through various important scientific and technological research projects.

With campuses in Piura and Lima UDEP has, in total, six faculties, fourteen academic programs and a higher technical school. A major city in Northern Peru, Piura offers a pleasant and conducive centre for study and work. Our Lima campus is located in Miraflores District, the hub of commercial activity in the capital, and offers an array of academic, cultural and social activities.
